She is the co-Chair of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG), a National Institutes of Health/National Eye Institute (NIH/NEI)-funded clinical research network comprised of 350+ pediatric optometrists and ophthalmologists who perform randomized clinical trials related to pediatric eye disorders. As a pediatric optometrist and clinician-scientist, her primary research interests are related to clinical management strategies for strabismus, amblyopia, convergence insufficiency, and childhood refractive error.
